The Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee (FVIAC) typically meets twice per year in the Washington, DC region. During meetings, the FVIAC discusses its agenda items, hears scheduled presentations, reviews working group reports, listens to public comments, and then votes in a public forum. The meeting is open to the interested public, who are welcome to observe the proceedings. There is time designated for general comments by observers. All written public comments, including formal presentations, must be submitted by April 14, 2017 for the FVIAC to consider, as noted in the Federal Register notice.
